Spartak Reef at the Broadcast Football Fives

The Champions League of the media industry was held at the weekend and Spartak Reef competed with all the skill and flair expected of us. Lead by Manager TV’s Thomas Hill, we managed to fight our way into the quarter final of the prestigious Plate via a penalty shoot out before being knocked out by the Stoke of TV Company’s, losing 9 – 2 (our legs went a bit and the BBQ was calling). Goalkeeper Khi ‘Schmeichel’ Mahmood picked up 2 man of the match awards in the group stages for a fine string of bone crunching saves and Charlie “Messi” Haigh achieved our top goal scorer awards with 5 goals.
